Our Story
It is with great pleasure that we announce The Road status as a Global Methodist Congregation. Our community was founded in Mint Hill, NC with the goal of providing a welcoming and Biblically grounded space for all individuals to worship the Lord and embark on their spiritual journey. We are proud to have achieved this new milestone on October 2, 2023. Our commitment to being guided by the Word of God remains steadfast as we continue to serve our community and spread the message of faith and love. We look forward to the future and all that it holds for The Road as a Global Methodist
Congregation.
Pastor Mark Weekley has joined our congregation as our senior pastor. Pastor Mark's deep grounding in biblical teachings, which he acquired during his formative years as the son of a Methodist minister, makes him an ideal fit for our church. He officially took on his new role on December 10, 2023. We look forward to the guidance and leadership he will provide in the years to come.
During his introductory remarks, Pastor Mark emphasized the importance of faith in our journey together. He reminded us that faith is not just a personal belief but also a communal experience that binds us together as a church family. He also spoke of the living presence of God that will continue to guide and grow us as we move forward.
We are confident that Pastor Mark's vision and leadership will help us deepen our spiritual practice and strengthen our church. We are excited to embark on this new chapter of our journey together under his guidance.
